J Edward Staffing is seeking:Behavioral Health Technician (Allied) - Per Diem Facility: PV The Grove Location: 3015 Summerville Rd, Locust Grove, VA 22508 Shift: Night Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Assignment Type: Per Diem Rate: $17.76 - $19.89 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary: J Edward Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technician to support our client's behavioral health team on a per diem basis. This role is well-suited for individuals passionate about mental health and committed to providing supportive, high-quality care in a therapeutic setting. Key Responsibilities: Implement Treatment Plans: Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and clinical staff to follow individualized treatment plans. Monitor Patients: Observe, document, and report behavioral changes or concerns to the care team. Provide Emotional Support: Help patients manage emotional and psychological challenges through supportive engagement. Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment; utilize de-escalation techniques when needed. Administrative Support: Assist with assessments, documentation, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Required, or must be willing to obtain CPR - BLS (American Heart Association) - Required Experience: Prior experience in behavioral health or a psychiatric care setting is strongly preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal and observational skills Proficiency in de-escalation and crisis response Strong commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards
