Join the Marriott Orlando Downtown team as a Part-Time Engineer working the PM shift. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and operations of the hotel’s engineering systems during the evening hours, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for guests and staff.Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment, systems, and facilities.Respond promptly to engineering-related guest requests and emergencies.Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report any issues to management.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all engineering tasks.Coordinate with other hotel departments to support operational needs during PM shift hours. Requirements Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in the hospitality industry.Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the evening shift.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.Flexibility to work part-time hours in the PM shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
