We're Hiring: Controller - Paramount Health Resources Are you a hands-on, operationally minded accounting leader ready to take the next big step in your career? Paramount Health Resources is looking for a Controller who will serve as the CFO's right hand - someone eager to learn our business inside and out and grow into increased leadership over time. This role blends traditional accounting leadership with meaningful involvement across operations, HR, payroll, IT, billing, and A/P. What You'll Lead Oversee Accounting, Payroll, Billing & A/P (5-6 direct reports, including an Accounting Manager) Mentor and develop your team with a focus on accountability and growth Drive timely, accurate financial reporting and monthly close processes Lead audits, regulatory filings, cost reports, and compliance efforts Partner with the CFO on system upgrades, process improvements, and optimization initiatives Maintain strong internal controls and data integrity Lead cross-departmental projects to strengthen financial and operational workflows Collaborate daily with teams across operations, HR, clinical services, and external partners What You Bring Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience; multi-entity or service-based a plus Experience managing a team - or the confidence and readiness to step into leadership Strong technical accounting background and comfort with complex entries Familiarity with payroll, billing systems, and A/P workflows Excellent communication - email, phone, directives, and cross-functional coordination Independent problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset Who Thrives Here Hands-on leaders who don't mind diving into the details Business-minded professionals who understand the "why," not just the numbers Dependable, proactive contributors who anticipate needs Approachable communicators who serve as go-to contacts for many departments Ambitious individuals eager to grow into expanded leadership responsibilities Benefits & Perks Paid Time Off (PTO) Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short- & Long-Term Disability Continuing Education & Tuition Reimbursement 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Perks Program Veteran Friendly We proudly support veterans and value the unique skills and discipline they bring to our team.
