Join Beacon Cancer Care as an Outpatient Nurse Practitioner (NP) and play a vital role in delivering advanced, patient-centered oncology care. Collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care between departments. Be a part of a team model composed of a physician-NP partnership, in close collaboration with medical assistants, nurses, clinical pharmacists, and other dynamic roles within the cancer center. Build professional relationships within the hospital to bridge the multidisciplinary care for patients in the hospital setting. Work closely with a collaborating physician to improve the decision-making process for patients in the outpatient clinic. Conduct assessments, interpret diagnostics, and develop individualized treatment plans. Manage acute and long-term oncology care, including treatment monitoring and patient education. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and mentor healthcare professionals. Support protocol development, quality improvement, and outcome tracking. Education: MSN (preferred) & accredited NP program completion. Experience: 2+ years in oncology nursing or comparable NP internship preferred. Driven individuals who have a passion and desire to take Oncology practices to the next level. Skills: Strong clinical judgment, EMR proficiency, and excellent communication.
