The expected salary for this position ranges from $162,000 to $180,000, depending on experience, complemented by a robust benefits package. Key Responsibilities Offer advanced technical and engineering solutions to support operations at our nuclear facilities. Act as a subject matter expert, directly engaging in the identification and resolution of equipment and system challenges. Lead engineering efforts by overseeing short- and long-term initiatives that influence site operations. Conduct engineering tasks as assigned, utilizing general engineering principles effectively. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of engineering work, adhering to established design standards and regulatory guidelines. Perform independent research and technical analyses to support various projects and initiatives. Propose innovative equipment solutions and improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet code requirements. Participate in various additional roles as needed, including emergency response and cross-departmental support during outages. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Chemical, Industrial, or Nuclear) or a related scientific field; or a Professional Engineer license; or an active/inactive SRO License along with at least 5 years of engineering experience, including 1 year in a nuclear power plant setting. Must meet access requirements for unescorted access to the facility, including passing a medical examination as applicable. Preferred Qualifications Experience in supervisory or managerial roles. Professional Engineer Registration or advanced technical qualifications. Experience in Electrical Design Engineering. Familiarity with Transmission and Digital Relay Protection systems.
