We are seeking a Lab Technician (Chemist) III to join a pharmaceutical laboratory environment. This role is responsible for performing routine chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in compliance with GMP and GLP standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and experience working with analytical laboratory equipment. Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM Essential Responsibilities: Evaluate chemical and physical properties of pharmaceutical substances Perform routine chemical analysis of raw materials, process intermediates, and finished products following GMP guidelines Prepare volumetric test solutions and mobile phases Utilize and operate laboratory equipment including HPLC, ICP, ICP-MS, GC, UV, and FT-NIR Perform titration techniques and analytical testing Calculate, interpret, and review test results Prepare test reports and maintain accurate lab notebooks Maintain documentation in accordance with SOPs, cGLP, and quality standards Perform Phase I OOS investigations as required Operate, calibrate, maintain, and qualify laboratory equipment Maintain laboratory housekeeping, including waste disposal, gas cylinder transfer, and glassware washing Dispose of laboratory waste in compliance with EPA regulations Follow all laboratory safety rules and procedures Assist senior chemists as needed Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related discipline (Chemistry preferred) or equivalent experience 1–3 years of laboratory experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred) Bilingual English and Spanish preferred Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and laboratory safety practices Experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, UV, and FT-NIR Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and quality management systems Strong documentation and organizational skills Basic math and analytical skills Ability to work 2nd shift and rotating/night shifts if required Commitment to cleaning, safety, and compliance practices
