We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our interdisciplinary team and provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to the adult individuals we serve.Under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services and the Medical Director, the Nurse Practitioner delivers psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning in alignment with Professional Counseling Center's mission and policies. This role requires strong clinical expertise, collaboration, and the ability to engage with individuals on their journey toward healing.Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planningProvide direct psychiatric services, including evaluations, medication reviews, prescribing, and monitoringMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical recordCollaborate with supervising psychiatrist and multidisciplinary teamParticipate in peer reviews, quality improvement activities, and evidence-based practice implementationEnsure compliance with confidentiality, recipient rights, and all Professional Counseling Center's policies Qualifications Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of MichiganIndividual Professional Liability insuranceExperience preferred but not required in behavioral healthExcellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on mental health issues effectively Benefits Competitive compensation (based on experience)1099 contracted employeeCredentialing with most commercial insurances, as well as Medicaid/MedicareAdministrative, billing and compliance supportPositive, collaborative team culture
