Physical Therapist Assistant PTA - Full Time

Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: Full-time, M-F 8-5pm Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in improving mobility, restoring function, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities. Monitor patients' progress and report observations to the supervising Physical Therapist. Instruct patients and families in exercises and techniques to be continued at home. Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment in clean and safe condition. Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current PTA license or certification in the state of practice. CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team.
