OR Surg Tech - 40hrs Days/Eves Rotate Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours Unit Name: Operating Room - Surg Tech. Brief Unit Description: Level II Trauma; complex community setting. Shift: Days 7am-5:30pm, 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4 week schedule. 1-2 rotation to Eves 1p-11:30pm per 4 week cycle. 2-3 weekday calls per 4 week schedule. Years of Experience Required: minimum 1-2 years of OR experience. Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:1. 6. Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult & Geriatric. Bed Count: 15. Census: Approximately 30 - 40 patients per day. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. Floating Required: No. Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, approximately 2-3 shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend rotation working 7:00am-3:30pm and Call 3:00pm-11:30pm every 1 of 4 weeks - NO NIGHT CALL. Call Requirement: Surg Techs are expected to take Call weekends and weekday Eve Call. Certifications Required: Surg Tech Certification. Surg Techs do not perform any cardiac monitoring, so no EKG or Telemetry required.
