What You'll Need To Bring High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in welding, fabrication, and manufacturing. Proven experience with power hand tools and manufacturing equipment. Previous forklift certification (2+ years). Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift 20 lbs unassisted, up to 100 lbs with assistance. Strong team player with a desire to grow within the company. What A Shift Looks Like Program and operate robotic welding systems for both carbon steel and stainless steel. Utilize your knowledge of welding principles, including weld wire types (solid and flux core), gases, and cutting methods (plasma and oxy/fuel). Operate high-definition plasma cutting tables. Read and interpret moderately complex drawings and prints for accurate fabrication. Use hand and power tools (grinders, hammers, plate rolls, punch presses, etc.). Design and build tools and fixtures to improve production processes. Create jigs and fixtures based on prints or original designs. Maintain a safe production environment while adhering to all safety protocols. Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
