Electrical Engineer II

Job Summary: Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experiments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of electrical engineering assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project. - Develops and tests documentation that describes the specific electrical functionality. - Participates and provides some input in project code reviews. - Runs tests designed by more experienced engineers. - Reviews test results and performs root cause analyses to identify problems. - Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Ensures compliance with quality processes and standards. - Makes changes to or upgrades existing electrical designs. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions. - Makes and implements recommendations to the immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity. - Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems. - Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. - Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects or assignments. - May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel. - Builds productive working relationships internally and externally. - Primary intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters. Nice to have: - RF(Radio Frequency) experience is desired Job Requirements: US only - Required Education & Experience for new grad: Master's degree, must have classes or coursework in engineering - Required Education & Experience for experienced candidate: Bachelor's degree and 2+ year experience or Master's degree and 1+ year experience All other regions - Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required. - Preferred Work Experience (years): 2+ years experience.
