Key Details Job Title: Residential Aide - Grave Shift Department: ODR Interim Housing Location: Mid City Commons, CA Reports To: Program Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Work Setting: On-Site Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour, DOE What You'll Do: The Impact You'll Make As a Residential Aide - Grave Shift, you will ensure overnight safety, structure, and support for residents while assisting with essential program operations. Resident Support and Care • Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs • Support residents in maintaining independence through daily chores and personal care • Assist with meal preparation, serving, and assigned program activities • Maintain confidentiality in all resident interactions Monitoring and Safety • Conduct regular overnight rounds to monitor residents and facility conditions • Ensure resident rooms and common areas remain clean, disinfected, and hazard-free • Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and unusual occurrences and complete required documentation Documentation and Communication • Complete daily logs, incident reports, and end-of-shift documentation • Provide thorough communication and updates to oncoming staff and the Program Manager Administrative and Facility Support • Answer phones, take messages, and greet visitors as needed • Support facility services, recreation, and assigned activities • Monitor and document resident self-administration of prescribed medications • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Manager What You'll Bring: Your QualificationsRequired • High School diploma or GED • At least one (1) year of experience in mental health, substance use treatment, or social services supporting individuals experiencing homelessness • Candidates with lived experience are encouraged to apply • If in recovery from alcohol or substance use, at least one (1) year of continuous sobriety • Ability to remain calm and professional under stress or conflict • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems • Valid California Driver's License, clean driving record, and insurability under agency policy • Ability to successfully pass a Live Scan background check Preferred • Current CPR certification • Patient demeanor with the ability to create a calming presence • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to act as a positive role model for residents • Adaptable, consistent, and compassionate team player Why Join Alcott?
