About Our Client Our client is a growing international food importer and distributor, bringing together multiple established businesses under one organization. Their mission is to deliver authentic, high-quality global food products while honoring culinary traditions from around the world. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Buyer to support sourcing, inventory management, and supplier relationships. Job Description Source and procure raw materials and ingredients to meet production requirements. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders. Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of procurement processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement practices and strategies. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Buyer - Ingredients should have: 4+ years of experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or related supply chain role Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain processes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred but not required Familiarity with supply and demand planning tools Strong organizational and time-management skills Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail Effective verbal communication and negotiation skills What's on Offer A competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
