CAD Technician

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a CAD Technician to join their team! This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri. Duties: Work closely with Electrical Engineers and Designers to create detailed electrical drawings, including: Power and control wiring diagrams, instrumentation loops, electrical schematics, cable tray layouts, electrical/instrumentation details, cable schedules, etc. Produce accurate 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings based on field findings and engineering direction Perform sizing and selection of circuit breakers and other protective devices as required for design packages Read, interpret, and update one line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment lists Work with project teams, including designers and engineers, throughout the design and review process Support design reviews by providing drawing updates, design clarifications, and field verification as needed Desired Skills/Experience: 4+ years of CAD design/drafting experience, preferably with a focus on electrical power and control systems AutoCAD experience required, strong ability to create and modify complex electrical drawings Deep knowledge of electrical design principles, including breaker sizing, load calculations, and power distribution layouts Experience conducting field measurements and developing designs based on real world data Benefits: Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans Employee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP) 401K offered The approximate pay range for this position starting at $85,000 - $110,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
