Certified First Assist PRN CT and Vascular Services

The Certified First Assist (Certified Surgical First Assist - CSFA) assists providers and staff by collecting pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs. This includes addressing and identifying health problems, performing selected treatments, aiding in diagnostic testing and/or procedures, assisting with non-invasive and invasive surgical procedures, and routine clinical duties. The CSFA functions as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities commensurate with training, scope of practice, and demonstrated competencies. Direct patient care is provided to patients of varying Associates or Vocational degree from an accredited Surgical Technician program Certificate of completion of a Surgical Assist program Hold CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assistant) from NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Current Kentucky CSA license (KCSA) from Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure (KBML) Added to the Job Description on 7/1/25 - current employees have 30 days to obtain Basic Life Support required Minimum two years of direct patient care experience preferred Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
