Position Overview We invite talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologists to become integral members of our expanding imaging team, dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic services. Your daily responsibilities will include utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic assessments, engaging with an encouraging group of healthcare professionals, and offering patients reassurance through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations-including those of the abdomen, obstetrics, gynecology, vascular studies, and small parts imaging. Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly communicating each step of the process with empathy and understanding. Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images. Operate ultrasound equipment responsibly and report any issues promptly to ensure seamless operations. Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system. Keep abreast of the latest ultrasound techniques and industry standards to ensure optimal patient care. Educational Qualifications A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field (Associate's or Bachelor's). Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred. Certifications Needed Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred. Essential Skills Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques with a keen sense of patient positioning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
