CareGivers America, a Modivcare Personal Care Service, is looking for an RN/LPN responsible for providing high-quality services to our home care private duty clients. We are seeking a compassionate, attentive, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a bright and resilient 12-year-old girl in her home. She is recovering from a significant neurological injury and requires ongoing medical support, monitoring, and assistance with daily activities. This role is ideal for a nurse who is patient, observant, and confident in pediatric care, and who values building meaningful connections with their patient and family. Position Spotlight... Schedule: TBD Area of Coverage: Palmerton Pa Full Benefits Package: See below more details Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plan Perform ongoing neurological and physical assessments Monitor vital signs and observe for subtle changes in condition Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assist with mobility, positioning, and safety supervision Support feeding needs and ensure adequate hydration/nutrition as directed Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and patient response Communicate effectively with parents, physicians, therapists, and care team members Promote a calm, supportive, and structured healing environment Ideal CandidateCurrent LPN or RN license in good standing Pediatric experience preferred (home health experience a plus) Experience with neurological recovery or complex medical needs is beneficial Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Gentle, patient, and emotionally supportive demeanor Ability to remain calm and responsive in urgent situations Reliable, professional, and respectful of family privacy Personal Qualities We ValueWarmth and kindness Excellent communication skills Consistency and dependability Ability to encourage participation in age-appropriate activities Respect for maintaining dignity and fostering independence Our Mission: To provide access to the care that matters for those who need it most.
