Position Snapshot: As a Stepdown RN, you'll be at the forefront of intermediate care, treating patients with complex cardiac needs like Afib, RVR, and pre/post-cath procedures. All patients are on telemetry, and youll manage a wide range of drips (non-titrating). Unit Details: 46-bed Cardiac PCU Located on the 3rd floor Nurse-to-patient ratio: 45:1 (may be 56:1 based on acuity) High exposure to cardiac diagnoses & clinical complexity Strong team support and learning environment What You'll Do: Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a stepdown setting Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data Manage cardiac medications and drips Collaborate with providers, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams Educate patients and families to support safe discharges and long-term care outcomes Document all interventions accurately and timely What You'll Need:Active FL RN license or compact (must obtain FL license within 60 days of hire) Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred 1+ year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred open to LTACH, home health, rehab) BLS (AHA) required Excellent critical thinking, communication, and clinical documentation skills Available Shifts:Days Rotating Weekends Nights Rotating Weekends Compensation & Benefits:Pay Range: $30.76 $41.50/hr (based on experience) Night Differential: +$4.75/hr Weekend Differential: +$3.00/hr National Certification Bonus: +$2.00/hr Sign-On Bonuses: $10,000 Day Shift $15,000 Night Shift 2% paid on first/second paycheck; balance in 6-month increments Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis Why Choose Global Placement Firm?
