Delivery Driver I

ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a 26’ straight truck and comply with DOT and local laws. Perform routine vehicle inspections. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck. Unload and place appliances in customer homes and job sites with the help of a Delivery Assistant and straps. Maintain accurate delivery records. Perform minor appliance installation (opportunity to learn and perform more complex appliance installation). Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with customers during deliveries. Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization. QualificationsHave a valid MN driver's license and a safe driving record Be at least 21 yrs old Pass a DOT physical and non-DOT drug test (paid for by the Company) Perform heavy physical demands, lifting 50lbs. frequently Have demonstrated positive and professional customer facing experience Have a High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year experience safely operating a 26’ straight truck or similar transferable experience 6 months experience working in a warehouse or similar type of industry safely moving and lifting heavy products using dollies and/or straps Experience reading bills of lading and other delivery paperwork What we offer This full-time role offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, allowing for evenings and weekends free.
