Support specimen collection while meticulously preparing samples for examination as required. Thoroughly document all processes, assist in training new team members or students, and maintain the lab's high quality standards. Ensure a clean and secure workplace while abiding by all regulatory and accreditation standards. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire. Ensure current certification is maintained throughout employment. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate effective teamwork within healthcare settings. Able to utilize independent judgment and problem-solving skills in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
