Due to exciting expansion, they are looking to bring on an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all functions within their machining department - apply today! Job Description Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. Inspect, maintain, and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, roofing, security alarms, and fire protection systems. Oversee the maintenance and operation of building utilities such as water, gas, air, and sewage systems. Ensure proper operation and repair of machine tools, production equipment, and facility infrastructure. Manage and oversee external contractors, service providers, architects, and vendors. Coordinate building construction, equipment installations, and machine repairs. Source and purchase maintenance equipment and supplies. Plan building layouts, maintenance schedules, and work assignments for complex repair needs. Document maintenance activities, including work orders, logs, and preventive maintenance records. Identify defective, obsolete, or unsafe equipment and recommend replacement when repair is not costeffective. Expedite building and machine repairs to prevent production downtime. Communicate clearly with all levels of the organization, including machinists, inspectors, programmers, and management. Use discretion and independent judgment in daily responsibilities. Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company's quality system. Perform additional duties as needed to support plant efficiency and safety.
