Production operator

This is a great opportunity for a union shop for someone who is looking to gain exposure in machine operation and learn new skillsets. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Machine Operator to join our metal fabrication team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining metalworking equipment, ensuring quality production, and supporting overall shop operations. No prior machine operation experience is required-training will be provided. salary: $17 - $18 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities Operate basic metalworking machinery (e.g., saws, drill presses, presses, CNC machines under supervision) Load and unload raw materials and finished parts Follow production schedules and work orders Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and company policies Perform basic machine maintenance and report mechanical issues Assist other team members as needed Skills Finishing Polishing Press Operation Blueprint Reading Qualifications Years of experience: 1 year Experience level: Entry Level Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
