Middle School Counselor - Contracted Position effective 2026-27 School Year Location: Colonial Middle School Salary: As per the CEA Agreement Availability: August 24, 2026 Qualifications: PA Certification in Elementary and Secondary School Counselor PK-12 Deadline: March 22, 2026 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Work closely with the CSD Home and School Visitor, CSD Behavioral Health Liaison, and Community Counselors to support students and families. Serve as a member of IEP, child study, instructional support, multidisciplinary, and student assistance teams, as necessary, and assist in coordinating services of same. Provide information and assist students and parents/guardians in areas such as improved attendance, improved grades, behavior supports, Section 504 Service Agreements, and course selection. Serve on school-based leadership/school improvement teams related to the well-being of students and climate to promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning community. Attend and participate in staff development activities, faculty meetings, and department/grade level meetings, and serve on building and/or district committees as requested.
