Direct Digital Controls Technician

All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Direct Digital Controls Technician for an immediate opening at the Bangor Naval Base near Bremerton & Silverdale, WA. Pay for the Direct Digital Controls Technician: $38 - $50 per hour Job Location: Bangor Naval Base near Bremerton & Silverdale, WA, with easy access to SR 3 Bus line accessible: Kitsap Transit provides service directly to Naval Base Kitsap - Bangor Enjoy on-base convenience with restaurants and a mini-mart available. Schedule for the Direct Digital Controls Technician: Monday - Friday Day Shift Benefits: Supplemental Health insurance Paid sick & safe time 6 paid holidays for qualified associates 401(k) plan Direct Digital Controls Technician Duties: Install, program, maintain, and repair Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems that support building utilities and facility equipment. Monitor and troubleshoot DDC components such as controllers, sensors, wiring, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Operate and maintain control systems for HVAC, lighting, and other mechanical or industrial equipment using DDC software and interfaces. Diagnose and resolve complex issues that require advanced technical knowledge - including programming adjustments, cable continuity checks, sensor calibration, and system integration updates. Create and modify graphic displays and control programs using specialized software and programming languages. Collaborate with engineers and facility experts to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet performance standards. Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians as needed. Document maintenance activities and system changes for accurate record-keeping and compliance. Perform other related duties as assigned to support facility operations. Direct Digital Controls Technician Qualifications: Minimum of four years of experience in a utilities trade and at least one year working with DDC technology. Completion of two years of formal training or equivalent in a technical field. One year of experience may be substituted for one year of formal training. Thorough familiarity with electronics, controls, telemetry devices, computer hardware, data processors, PCs, wiring, and cables. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Familiarity with DDC network technologies and global operations using sensors and electronic control devices. Solid working knowledge of Windows-based software and PC operations. Ability to perform diagnostics of hardware and software on a global network. Valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must meet and maintain company physical and security requirements, including respirator qualification and clearance eligibility when required. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a service team environment. U.S. citizenship required.
