Job Full Description Bookkeeper / Accounts Receivable / Customer Service Representative Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | $20-$23/HR Springfield, IL An established lawn care and landscaping company in Springfield is seeking a Bookkeeper / AR Specialist / Customer Service Representative to support accounting, office administration, and dispatch operations. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity in a stable, service-based business environment. We are looking for someone with bookkeeping, accounts receivable, invoicing, and customer service experience who can manage financial records while supporting daily office operations. Key Responsibilities • Process customer invoices using contracts, work orders, and service documentation • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and post customer payments • Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor bill payments • Prepare bank deposits and perform account reconciliations • Support payroll processing and payroll reconciliation • Maintain general ledger accuracy and financial documentation • Answer inbound customer service calls and resolve billing inquiries • Coordinate scheduling, routing, and dispatching of field service crews • Order office and shop supplies and manage inventory • Assist with administrative support, HR paperwork, and basic marketing updates Required Skills & Experience • 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting clerk, AR/AP, or office manager experience • Experience with invoicing, billing cycles, payment posting, and reconciliations • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes • Payroll support or payroll processing experience preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software systems • Strong customer service and phone communication skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, service-based office environment • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Experience in landscaping, construction, field service, home services, or small business accounting is a plus.
