Axis Milling Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 3 and 5 Axis Milling Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities: Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications using a variety of measurement tools. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area. dhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Required Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, military training or certification in. machining or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience operating 3 and 5 axis milling machines. Experience with tight tolerances and precision parts. Knowledge of GD&T. Experience with metrology/measuring tools. Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. bility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong communication and teamwork skills. bility to work independently and manage time effectively. Desired Experience: Experience with CAD/CAM software. Tool Grinding. Experience with Swiss style lathes. Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs. Experience with NPI. Physical Requirements: bility to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds. Prolonged periods of standing and working with machinery. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
