Job Posting: Assembly Technician (1st & 2nd Shift) Shift Options: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM - $21.00/hr 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:15 PM-12:45 AM - $23.10/hr Training: All 2nd shift hires train on 1st shift for 4 weeks. Location: Hampton, VA About the Role We are seeking reliable Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble and test electronic and mechanical components following standardized work instructions. You'll work with microscopes, computers, and precision tools to ensure highquality production. Key Responsibilities Assemble components according to standardized work instructions and drawings Test electronic/mechanical assemblies requiring strong hand-eye coordination Read and understand manufacturing drawings and SOPs Inspect electronic parts for quality Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S) Follow all safety procedures Use microscopes and basic computer systems Support continuous improvement efforts Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Qualifications Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience (soldering/assembly preferred) High school diploma or GED Mechatronics/Electronics certification preferred Ability to follow quality standards and work instructions Strong attention to detail and reliability IND30
