Schedule Full-time position consisting of 3x12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights as needed, plus every other weekend and holiday shifts, along with 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks. Job Description The Registered Nurse applies nursing theory, technical skills, and strong communication abilities to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families. The RN assesses patient needs, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care, provides direct patient care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates care throughout the patient's episode. ResponsibilitiesApply nursing knowledge and skills in delivering effective patient care. Assess patient and family needs through comprehensive evaluation and direct observation. Create individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding self-care and health management post-discharge. Engage in quality improvement activities to enhance nursing practice and care delivery. Develop and maintain trustful relationships with patients and families, acknowledging their central role in the care process. Administer medication and implement nursing interventions safely and effectively. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent New York State RN Licensure. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association or RQI only), NIHSS. One year of experience in a Medical/Surgical Nursing environment as a Registered Nurse. Why ARMStaffing?
