Job Opportunity - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Locum TenensStart Date: ASAP - Ongoing Location: Level III Trauma and Pediatrics Facility Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants Schedule: Approximately 4 patient encounters per shift; 8 LDR beds and 16 postpartum beds Highlights:Full-service Labor and Delivery department with 8 LDR rooms and 16 postpartum beds Comprehensive OB/GYN practice including low and high-risk pregnancy management Manageable patient volume averaging 4 encounters per shift Level III Trauma and Pediatrics support available on-site Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days Ongoing locum coverage opportunity with flexibility Requirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (minimum Board Eligible) Fellowship training required Active, unrestricted medical license (IMLC not accepted) Required skills: Low and high-risk pregnancy management, routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs Required skills: OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation), repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Preferred skills: FHR interpretation, amniocentesis, office/minor gynecology procedures, surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic) Why It's a Fit: This locum tenens opportunity offers experienced OB/GYN physicians the chance to provide comprehensive maternal care in a well-equipped facility with robust support services.
