Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing enhancements. Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to build integrated care plans. Provide education for patients and their families to foster progress beyond therapy hours. Occasionally contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout each patient's journey. Keep comprehensive and accurate documentation per state, federal, and organizational standards. Commit to ongoing professional development through reading, attending seminars, and exchanging knowledge with peers. Qualifications A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications Possession of a valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
