Job Responsibilities Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized treatment strategies to help them achieve personal goals. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide inclusive care. Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on effective therapy practices to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Track and Adjust Treatment: Monitor and document patients' progress, modifying their treatment plans to align with their evolving needs. Required Education Degree in Occupational Therapy obtained from an accredited school. Continuing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported. Licenses and Certifications Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
