ICU Registered Nurse / RNQualifications: Minimum: Associate's Degree in Nursing, BSN Preferred. Current RN licensure active in the State of Ohio. Palliative Care Training preferred AHA BLS / CPR ICU Registered Nurse / RN Summary: Supports the department director in managing the department's shifts. The ICU RN serves as a role model for professional conduct, clinical expertise, and customer service, holding staff accountable for maintaining these standards. They coordinate and oversee activities during their shift to ensure nursing care needs are met and facilitate effective communication between shifts. The ICU RN manages shift resources to optimize both clinical and financial outcomes. They maintain visibility and open communication with staff, other departments, patients, visitors, and physicians. The role also includes serving as a resource for nursing staff and physicians, with direct patient care responsibilities.
