This position is On-SiteSummary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our logistics team as a Routing and Dispatch Intern. The intern will assist in coordinating daily operations, optimizing delivery routes, and supporting real-time communication with drivers. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management to gain hands-on experience. What You'll Do: • Assist in planning and optimizing delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. • Support dispatch operations by monitoring driver schedules and ensuring timely service. • Communicate with drivers to provide route updates and resolve issues in real-time. • Enter and maintain accurate data related to routes, deliveries, and performance metrics. • Generate reports on delivery performance and service quality. • Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and delivery status requests. About You: • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with routing/dispatch software (a plus). • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in logistics, dispatch, or customer service (internships or part-time work). • Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning tools. #LI-MD1 The above job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
