Role Highlights Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews Assist surgeons in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via imaging and lab result analysis Collaborate with surgical teams to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients Offer critical intraoperative support: prepping the operative area, ensuring patient safety, and efficiently managing surgical instruments Provide exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound dressing, discharge plans, and patient education Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are highly preferred Licensing & Certification Current and unrestricted PA-C certification Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant Core Skills Thorough understanding of surgical practices and sterile techniques Proficient in interpreting diagnostic tests and supporting complex clinical decisions Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Able to thrive in demanding operating conditions, especially in surgery Empathetic demeanor with deep respect for the dignity and autonomy of patients Why Join Us?
