Role: Lean Manufacturing Engineer Location - Palm Beach Gardens, FL., USA JD: Coordinate and /or participate in aspects of the Lean Manufacturing initiatives including set-up reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, process / work flow improvements, visual management, value stream mapping, and cellular production processes. SECTION 2: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate, procedures and guidelines, this position: • Lead, coordinate, and facilitate the implementation of Lean Manufacturing efforts. • Coordinate and lead highly complex projects that include multiple aspects of the Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as; set-up reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, process / workflow improvements, visual management, value stream mapping, and cellular production processes. • Conceive, develop, and implement Lean Manufacturing processes to improve efficiencies, increase productivity, and / or improve quality. • Develop and implement layouts using Lean Manufacturing concepts. • Implement JJPS infrastructure including Tier Meetings Management Systems, Leader Standard Work, Kaizen/Problem Solving. . • Facilitate and support business processes by mapping teams across businesses to eliminate non-value-added activities. • Design and implement centralized performance dashboards. • Create and support business cases for new projects and innovative solutions. • Train and coach, all levels to use JJPS Methodology and Lean Manufacturing tools including employees going through certification process. • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures • Performs other duties assigned as needed
