Senior Data Scientist Must Have Technical/Functional Skills • 10+ years of experience in data science, applied ML, or quantitative analytics. • Expert-level proficiency in Python, R, and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit learn, XGBoost, etc.). • Strong SQL skills and experience with distributed computing platforms (Spark, Databricks, Snowflake). • Proven success deploying ML models into production. • Deep understanding of statistics, probability, experimental design, and algorithmic foundations. • Experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP). Roles & Responsibilities Data Science & Machine Learning • Design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning modelsincluding supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, NLP, and optimization techniques. • Lead full model lifecycle development: problem framing, data discovery, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. • Build scalable ML pipelines (batch and real time) using modern MLOps tools and best practices. • Apply advanced statistical methods to address forecasting, experimentation, causal inference, segmentation, and predictive analytics needs. Data Strategy, Architecture & Governance • Partner with engineering teams to define data architecture, ingestion strategies, and model operationalization standards. • Ensure data integrity through rigorous governance, quality checks, validation, and profiling. • Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks that support AI/ML scalability and innovation. • Design and launch new data models, datasets, and pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and product use cases. Business Impact & Cross Functional Leadership • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership. • Work closely with product, operations, economics, finance, marketing, and informatics teams to define use cases, quantify ROI, and influence strategy. • Lead cross functional teams through experimentation, solution development, and iterative improvement. • Produce impactful dashboards, visualizations, and storytelling that clarify trends, financial implications, and insights for executive audiences. • Coordinate data perspectives across functional groups to ensure consistent interpretation of trends, measurements, and methodologies. Innovation, Research & Technical Leadership • Lead development and deployment of predictive models, NLP systems, and emerging LLM based solutions. • Serve as a thought leader on advanced analytics, AI, data science frameworks, and proprietary data prod uct development. • Drive continuous innovation by monitoring emerging technologies, evaluating new methodologies, and integrating them into current and future business solutions. • Collaborate with IT to design and operationalize MLOps and DevOps pipelines, positioning AI as a scalable product capability. Preferred Qualifications • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. • Hands on experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, Kubeflow). • Strong executive presence with experience presenting to VP and C level audiences and managing escalations. • Experience with generative AI, LLM implementations, and advanced NLP pipelines. • Track record of leading large AI/ML programs and mentoring data science teams. Salary Range- $100,000-$115,000 a year
