Lifeguard

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has openings for Lifeguards. The successful candidate will need to: Strong work ethic and the ability to work well with co-workers; Ability to perform well without direct supervision; Ability to swim well; Excellent knowledge of first aid, lifesaving, and rescue work as applied to accidents in the water; Able to enforce compliance with pool rules and regulations and ensure the safety and welfare of all within the pool area; Ability to work well with children and adults; Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrate excellent observation skills and mental alertness.
