Your responsibilities will include facilitating patient flow within the clinic, from registration to discharge, and collaborating with the Ambulatory Care clinic team to ensure efficient outpatient operations that enhance patient satisfaction. Additionally, you will provide support to different teams and practices to cover for staff absences due to illness, holidays, or leave. This position requires a Team Assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive. You will be expected to travel to all UCLA Community practices throughout the greater Southern California area and be physically present at the job site. Workdays and hours may vary based on assignments, and you must be capable of responding rapidly to urgent situations in a dynamic environment. Salary range: $26.42 - $26.42 Hourly Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Required: Ability to demonstrate clear knowledge of job responsibilities; skillfully use equipment, software and tools required to do the job; and to work steadily to get job done Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments Skill in efficiently and accurately facilitate the appointment making process, including transportation arrangements and maintain sub-specialty physician schedules Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate multiple appointments with staff from many clinical services at the UCLA Health System Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and E-mail, demonstrated work experience with a database computer program Ability to be highly flexible, travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health community based practices and work a variable schedule Highly desired: Working knowledge to complete on-line transactions, including appointment scheduling, procedure scheduling, encounter registration system, hospital lab results and medical reports Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided Experience working in a healthcare setting Knowledge of medical terminology As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
