Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Open Heart (CVOR) unit, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Manage the day-to-day operations of the CVOR unit, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards related to cardiovascular surgical care. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate surgical care and optimize open heart procedures. Serve as a key leader and responder during cardiac surgical emergencies, providing direction and support to the team. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred. 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in cardiovascular operating room settings, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
