We are looking for a Scientist 3 - Third Shift Analytical Chemist Pilot Plant to work as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in Rahway, NJ . This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. This role does not offer sponsorship. Description The Scientist 3 - Third Shift Analytical Chemist Pilot Plant operates and maintains a wide variety of analytical instrumentation to perform routine and real-time testing in support of the pilot plant. Responsibilities include utilizing HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, IR, titrations, KF testing, and other wet chemistry methods to consistently deliver high-quality, fully compliant results while interacting with a diverse customer base daily. Qualifications - B.S./M.S. in Chemistry or related discipline and relevant years of experience as listed below: Scientist 3 - B.S. with 3 to 5 years of experience; M.S. with 1 to 2 years of experience Required Skills and Experience Experience in cGMP regulated laboratories with strong adherence to data integrity, ALCOA principles, and compliance requirements HPLC and GC experience is required, with an interest in expanding knowledge and background in method development and optimization, validation, data analysis, and sample preparation techniques KF, UV-VIS, IR and other common analytical chemistry instruments and methods Tecan automated liquid handling systems for high throughput testing Software platforms for data processing, management and reporting, including Empower, RLIMS, Lab X, etc. Second scientist review of GMP data Desired Skills and Experience Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and oral/written communications skills Ability to work under pressure and provide reliable results with quick turnaround About Parexel Parexel FSP includes the CMC Operations group.
