Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager As a vital member of our management team, the Restaurant Assistant Manager (RAM) supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will play a key role in enhancing team performance, driving sales, and implementing company policies. Key Responsibilities: Foster a motivating atmosphere by demonstrating self-awareness and encouraging team feedback. Monitor and ensure exceptional service, food quality, and compliance with safety standards. Create a supportive environment for staff, addressing concerns swiftly and effectively. Manage sales and labor effectively, treating employees with respect and recognition. Uphold cleanliness and maintenance standards to reflect the brand image positively. Plan and execute operations during your shifts while following guidelines for cost control. Lead with empathy, fairness, and a commitment to teamwork, while identifying and nurturing future talent. Utilize financial insights to make impactful business decisions and ensure proper cash handling. Ensure compliance with labor laws and coordinate staffing and inventory management. Identify trends, create action plans for improvements, and focus on long-term sales growth. Train and motivate team members, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Participate in various roles as needed, from food preparation to customer service. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications for Success: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent experience in restaurant management. Fluent in English; Spanish comprehension is a plus. Strong reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills required. Previous experience in fast-food management is essential. Familiarity with Food & Beverage performance metrics and product specifications. Technical expertise in food preparation, production, and food safety procedures. Strong leadership capabilities, staying calm and professional in challenging situations. Ability to handle confidential information and seek appropriate support when necessary. Eager to learn all aspects of restaurant operations and work various stations. Positive attitude and a true passion for serving others. Respectful and caring demeanor towards colleagues. Strong communication abilities in both Spanish and English. Self-motivated and dedicated to action. Open to learning and accepting accountability for mistakes. Reliable attendance and transportation for work and events. Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and navigate restaurant hazards safely.
