Quality Inspector

Germantown, WI 2nd shift, M-F, 3-11pm $17 - $18 p/hrUnder the direction of the Quality Team, the Q. Auditor is responsible for checking part quality through the measurement and visual inspection of production as detailed in the quality plan.Quality AuditorResponsibilities Will collect a full shot of parts from each press, examine each part for standard molding defects per SWI-10-03 Conduct dimensional Audits per quality plan in the beginning of each shift Continuous roving floor audits include the audit of each complete box at the press Monitor red bin quantities and enter scrap in IQMS. Verify the newly started jobs meet the requirements of the Process Quality Plan Collect, audit, & tag the End of Run retain samples Visually inspect and dimensionally verify product. Identify non-conforming aspects of production parts. Contain and process a production hold on all suspect products. Move suspect product to hold area. Perform sorting operations. Enter SPC data into computer system. Complete General Corrective Action Forms. Maintain proper housekeeping practices. Participate and offer input to corrective and preventive action and continuous improvement projects. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. RequirementsRequirements: Previous experience in a quality department. Demonstrated ability to identify visual irregularities, such as flash, sinks, burns, etc. in molded plastic parts. High School diploma or equivalent. ISO documentation training. Ability to perform quality audit plan tasks. Ability to properly use metrology equipment. Demonstrate ability to make logical decisions. Work with various gauges checking parts, mics, calipers, drop indicators, gauge pins, scales, CMM, SPC collection, good computer knowledge, color spectrometers .
