REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS This position is for 3rd shift, including weekends. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR A 3rd SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE. High School Diploma or GED Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work overtime as required. Capable of working in hazardous environments, including extreme temperatures. Capable of obtaining and maintaining explosive certification level II. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Ability to lift 50 lbs. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Associates degree in a technical field. Experience with PLCs. Previous experience working as a technician. Technical writing skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Work as part of a team of technicians and operators to conduct environmental testing. Ensure that all instrumentation/test equipment is properly maintained and set up. Monitor tests and record data, using both manual and automated means, and perform data compliance and consistency checks. Ensure that simulated environments such as rain, salt, fog, high and low temperature, high and low humidity, altitude, etc. are properly calibrated and maintained. Perform routine checks on equipment for visual issues or maintenance needs.
