Job Description Welder Location: Waukesha, WI Pay: $50,000-$60,000 per year We are seeking an experienced Welder to join a stable, well-established manufacturing operation with over 50 years of success. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Long-term stability with steady hours Diverse projects across multiple industries Free Direct Primary Care, diagnostic testing & select surgeries Company-paid dental and vision (no employee premiums) 401(k), profit sharing, tuition reimbursement & recognition programs Structured onboarding and skill development Benefits start after 30 days Key Responsibilities Perform welding operations safely and efficiently Weld using Fluxcore 3/32 or Solid Wire .045 or .052 Read and interpret weld symbols and blueprints (required) Follow WPS, drawings, and established standards Set up and adjust welding equipment (wire feed speed, voltage, etc.) Inspect welds for quality and dimensional accuracy Operate forklifts and overhead cranes Qualifications 2+ years of welding experience (structural weldments preferred) Experience welding to AWS D1.1 standards preferred Demonstrated ability to weld material ½-inch thick or greater Strong knowledge of weld symbols and basic blueprint reading (required) Experience with pre-heats and stack welding preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and work on feet throughout shift Comfortable operating cranes and forklifts This role is ideal for welders who take pride in their craftsmanship, can confidently read prints and weld symbols, and are seeking long-term stability with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
