Warehouse Associate

Description: This position is for a warehouse associate that handles various warehousing responsibilities. The candidate must be able to manually pick orders using their hands, NOT a forklift. Candidates must have order picking experience (manual with hands) and must be able to pull and check orders. Candidate will help customers that come to pick up their will call orders. This will include picking (manually with hands) and loading customer orders. They will also check in material and put it away in the correct locations in the warehouse. Candidate will also handle outbound UPS/LTL shipments. Candidate will be on an order picker (heights up to 20') more so than a forklift. Forklift Operator experience is preferred. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required. If hired full time, this would be a Union position!! MUST HAVES: 1 year of warehouse experience. Qualifications: A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory is preferred. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it. Responsibilities: Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
