Overview of Finance Operations at Cardinal Health Our Finance team plays a crucial role at Cardinal Health by managing the accounting, tax, financial planning, and policies for the entire organization. We establish rigorous fiscal controls, interpret financial data, and safeguard our assets to ensure our continued success. As a part of Finance Operations, you will oversee key financial processes such as pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable, and employee travel & expense management. Key Responsibilities Take charge of the rebate calculation process for complex rebate models. Manage and process SAP Vistex accruals and settlement calculations. Prepare audit support packages and maintain SOX compliance for all calculations. Secure payment approvals for processing via SAP. Generate required reporting packages for customer needs. Collaborate with the offshore team to process data requests related to rebate payouts. Respond to inquiries regarding rebates and admin fees from stakeholders, both internal and external. Ensure proper accounting of GPO Admin Fees and Rebates, conducting balance sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy. Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to prioritize and resolve customer inquiries effectively. Assist your Manager with complex customer and transaction activities. Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues. Enhance and maintain the internal SOX control structure. Identify and implement improvements to processes while standardizing practices across different areas. Foster collaboration across various departments, including Sales, Legal, Pricing, Accounting, and Revenue Management, to ensure accurate transaction accounting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. 4-8 years of experience in finance, audit, or accounting is preferred. Familiarity with SAP and legal contracts is a plus. General knowledge of GAAP is preferred. Strong competency in MS Excel is required. Experience with Business Objects is preferred. Expectations at this Level Utilize your comprehensive knowledge to tackle various tasks and projects. Contribute to developing policies and procedures. Engage in complex projects of considerable scope. Develop innovative technical solutions for challenging problems. Work independently while receiving general guidance on new assignments. Your work will be assessed to ensure meeting objectives. May serve as a mentor to junior colleagues.
