Automotive Parts Specialist Join our team as an Automotive Parts Specialist and provide exceptional service to both retail and installer customers. This role is vital in supporting store management to achieve various operational objectives. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply! Key Responsibilities: Champion all company customer service initiatives. Welcome retail and walk-in customers with a warm and courteous demeanor, guiding them in choosing the right merchandise. Collaborate with managers and installer service specialists to assist professional customers as needed. Complete all required company training related to the role. Deliver outstanding service to customers over the phone, following company guidelines, accurately locating parts, quoting prices, and promoting premium items along with our Low-Price Guarantee. Ensure the cash drawer is managed accurately, processing all forms of payments diligently. Handle exchanges and returns professionally, in alignment with company policies. Address and resolve customer concerns with a friendly approach. Assist in daily store operations, including inventory management, freight handling, and maintaining a tidy store environment. Safely operate store equipment including brake lathes once trained. Provide in-store customer services (where permitted by local laws), such as installing wipers and testing batteries. Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make customer deliveries as needed, ensuring compliance with the company's driving eligibility criteria. Perform additional duties as assigned. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Strong ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Capacity to multitask effectively, assisting customers both in-person and over the phone. Familiarity with automotive parts and services is a plus. ASE certification is preferred.
