We invite you to apply for the Technical Product Owner role focused on HR and Legal systems. In this strategic position, you will connect business needs with technical execution to support our HR and Legal functions. You will develop product vision, manage backlogs, and transform business requirements into user stories for our development teams. Key Responsibilities: Define the product vision and create a roadmap for human resource and legal systems that aligns with business objectives. Integrate Workday and legal technology roadmaps into product planning, advising internal partners on optimization opportunities. Build and maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring acceptance criteria are clear and align with architectural realities. Translate user needs into actionable requirements, leveraging your expertise in Workday and system architecture. Collaborate with HR and Legal leaders to offer strategic recommendations that focus on long-term system development and scalability. Facilitate clear communication among Legal, HR, and Engineering teams regarding requirements, constraints, and timelines. Assess the impact of system and process changes on integrated systems and guide integration teams accordingly. Oversee timelines, resources, and budgets while identifying and mitigating risks. Mentor development teams and evaluate technologies to ensure compliance with standards and policies. Coordinate end-to-end delivery, establishing robust support processes. Essential Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Workday domains, security settings, business process frameworks, and architectural limitations. Experience with security software, contract lifecycle management, and consent management tools. Adept at scoping configuration changes, estimating efforts, and identifying downstream impacts. Understanding of integration architecture, especially how Workday changes affect connected systems. Ability to convert business needs into technical requirements for future-proof solutions. Current knowledge of Workday's roadmap and ability to recommend adoption strategies. Solid grasp of SDLC and related concepts. Familiarity with agile product management methodologies. Strong influence and relationship-building skills across stakeholders. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities for effective decision-making. Awareness of HR and legal operations as well as regulatory requirements. Proven leadership skills to guide and motivate teams effectively. Preferred familiarity with Salesforce and SAP ERP platforms. Compensation Information: Cengage Group is proud to offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support and empower our employees. The salary range for this position is $101,900.00 - $140,000.00 USD, with an incentive bonus program that’s contingent on performance.
