Key Responsibilities: Guide multinational enterprises in strategic business decisions, including operational locations, entity selection, optimizing supply chains, and capital mobilization while evaluating tax risk profiles and global effective tax rates. Advise on global tax planning, helping clients foresee and assess the implications of tax strategies in relation to broader business goals. Collaborate with Mergers & Acquisition Tax teams to structure tax considerations for international transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs, along with drafting necessary documentation. Assist clients with tax provisions for financial statements and oversee compliance activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting of tax impacts from global operations. Provide insights on income tax treaty planning for cross-border investment and trading activities. Support alternative investment companies throughout the investment life cycle, focusing on the needs of asset managers and portfolio companies in the global arena. Qualifications: A minimum of eight years of experience in international tax, mergers, acquisitions, or federal tax planning. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; CPA, EA, JD/LLM or equivalent credential required upon employment. Strong understanding of international and domestic tax laws. Exceptional research, writing, Excel modeling, and communication skills. A proven ability to manage multiple engagements and foster effective teamwork while mentoring new staff. Capacity to nurture client relationships and expand KPMG's presence in both local and international markets.
