Job Description Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced urologist to cover shifts at a progressive community hospital in Eastern Colorado, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across a diverse and underserved population. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive outpatient urological care to adult patients in a rural clinical setting - Perform and manage a range of clinic-based urological procedures with a focus on patient safety and outcomes - Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care - Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards - Engage in patient education, preventive care initiatives, and health promotion tailored to rural populations - Participate in quality improvement activities, clinical performance reviews, and ongoing professional development Requirements: - MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited urology residency program - Board certification in Urology (or eligibility) - Valid medical license in the state of Colorado - Experience in outpatient urology, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a rural healthcare environment with limited resources - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first, compassionate approach - Willingness to work a flexible schedule of two days per month, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Commitment to serving underserved communities and advancing equitable access to care
